Situated in the center of the sculptor’s house, the dining area still has some authentic details of sculpted wood, located around the stairs and the ceiling. Needing space for different table accessories, and for not competing with the natural original wood, the proposed volume is designed in a neutral white color.
The only visible details are the steel handles that continue as the base for the minimal box-shape furniture. These details follow the theme of the steel-wood relation. The apparently simple lines that separate the doors will transform into three dimensional shapes once opened, due to the different tasks each drawer serves.
